Brisbane is one of Australia’s best places to live, with its vibrant cultural landscape and fast-growing economy. It is also one of the nation’s most multiethnic hubs: half of the population of the sunshine capital of Australia was born overseas, as recorded by the 2016 census. So, no matter where you are from, you will surely feel at home. They city’s immigrants have settled in different suburbs around the city, creating their own businesses, cultural associations and even newspapers. For example, the Vietnamese community is the most concentrated of the whole country and is more populous than the Chinese equivalent. Other ethnic groups that have decided to make Brisbane their home are the Filipinos, Spanish, Indians, Pakistanis and Koreans. Each has its own cultural treasures and festivals waiting to be explored, or you can experience them all at once by attending the annual Queensland Multicultural Week and enjoy a diverse festival of food, music, arts, crafts and dance from more than 70 countries.

With such a vast array of foreign tongues and traditions available, learning a foreign language in Brisbane can help you connect with these communities on a whole new level, while allowing you to explore their cultures in a deeper way as well. Enhance these multicultural experiences with a knowledge of other languages. Contact us to study a language in Brisbane today!
