Our general French courses are designed to help you boost your language skills in a fun and engaging way. You will work on your communication skills using materials prepared specifically with your interests and objectives in mind. Love pop music? Are you a fan of classical movies? Your tutor can use them to teach you French! This means that you will learn vocabulary and grammar in context, instead of memorising a list of words and rules.

If this is your first time learning French, your instructor will begin by teaching you the basics and expose you to real-life language in a guided manner. In this way, instead of learning “textbook French”, you will learn to speak in the same way native speakers do. This includes a good command of grammar and vocabulary, as well as fluency and intelligible pronunciation.

If you already have some experience with French, your tutor will assess your current level and start from there. In this way, you will not get bored or frustrated. The content will be personalised to suit your proficiency and interests. For example, if you already have a strong grasp of how French tenses work, your tutor will focus on teaching you more advanced topics, like colloquialisms, instead of focusing on the basics.
